Tennessee DOE School Climate Survey
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want our school to be the best it can be. Please fill out this survey and tell us what you think about what we are doing well and what you think we could be doing better. If you have more than one child in this school, you may pick which one you want to think about when answering the questions. This survey is anonymous, and your participation is completely voluntary. No one will know which answers came from you, and it will not be possible to connect your answers to your child in any way. Thank you very much for your participation.

Soddy Daisy High School Accepts Donation from Kangaroo Express and BP

Kangaroo Express has teamed up with BP’s Fueling Communities program to donate a total of $10,000 to the Hamilton County Department of Education. The donation will provide $1,000 to 10 schools in the district, including Soddy Daisy High School.

“This $10,000 donation will assist several schools in Hamilton County,” said Superintendent Rick Smith. “We are grateful to Kangaroo Express and BP for their donation.  I am personally eager to watch as this donation helps our schools fund projects that will better the educational environment for our students.”

Soddy Daisy High School will accept its $1,000 donation during the Renaissance Program on Friday, February 10. The funds will help Soddy Daisy High purchase a new sound system for the gymnasium.

“Kangaroo Express doesn’t just do business here in Hamilton County. Our employees live, work, and have kids that go to school here,” said Chris Hughes, region sales director at Kangaroo Express. “We are more than proud to have this chance to support so many local schools and to give back to our local community.”
