The Rifle Team consists of 10 cadets. This team is very difficult to get on due to this fact. A minimum of 2 slots are open for incoming Freshmen each year. They strives to develop trust among members. Without trust, this team would not be able to function to its up-most potential. The maximum score possible for an individual is 600, which is very difficult to achieve. We only take 5 cadets to a match, and we choose these cadets by evaluating the highest scores at each practice. Remember, its not about who shoots the highest score, but what you can do to improve yours. We also try to develop teamwork and self-discipline on and off the range. It is vital that each cadet have self-discipline on the range so that they will take care of their weapons and have the ability to follow all range safety rules. This is what the Trojan Battalion Rifle Team is all about.

Qualifications for Rifle Team:
1) 3.0 GPA.
2) No disciplinary action taken in high school.
3) Be in good physical shape.
